Dental suction equipment, also known as dental evacuation systems or dental vacuums, are devices used in dental treatments to remove saliva, blood, irrigation water, and debris from the patient's mouth. There are mainly two types of systems: wet suction, which uses a combination of water and air to create vacuum pressure, and dry suction, which uses air alone and turbine motors to generate suction. The equipment typically includes suction handpieces with cannulas, tubing, a suction pump or motor, and sometimes air-liquid separators.
